Tactics and personal readiness
Lets say that you are starting a limousine business. You hope to capture a share of the airport, celebrity, sport events, and business travel in your community. These may be expressed in strategic goals. To help you reach your major goals, you will work on a number of tactics to help you get there. You may have a financial partner who will help you lease or purchase your vehicles. You may work on building a network of connections with hotels, resorts, event planners, and catering businesses. In addition, you will plan on a printed brochure, a website, and rack cards for destinations. You will establish maintenance and cleaning programs for your deluxe vehicles. Each of these tactics will help you reach your strategic goals, but you may have to adapt your tactics to suit your resources and immediate needs.
