Transform your career

Thinking about changing your career? Don’t think small.  Think about a transformation that will change your life through greater satisfaction, attainment of new skills, and being surrounded by powerful new people.  Change happens all the time, but transformation requires a definite intention. Transform yourself, prepare your mind, and enjoy a more vital life.

Transformation is possible.  Change the ground rules in your life by taking these steps:

Gratitude.
Acknowledge the many parts of your life that work well, and give thanks for the abundance that you already have. Align yourself with God or your higher spirit by showing gratitude.

Center.
You have amazing unused potential. Find your center and listen. Quiet your mind and pay attention. Make meditation or prayer part of your daily experience.

Learn.
Invest in yourself! Take new courses, read, and explore career ideas through writing, certification, and demonstration projects.  Make yourself an expert in a new field. Launch your transformation through this expertise.

People.
Say hello to influential people. Few people succeed by themselves. Increase your odds of creating a breakthrough.  A powerful network can be a source for opportunity, recognition, and life-changing ideas. Keep connecting yourself with talent.

Actions.
Put yourself on the line, and act. Move in the direction of your transformation. You will never know – until you pull yourself forward – what new opportunities and resources will be available to you after you have committed yourself in the purpose you have chosen. Actions show the world that you are determined to create something more. Make your actions bold, in keeping with your vision.

Don’t settle for garden-variety change. “Make each day your masterpiece,” said John Wooden. Listen to your soul, search your feelings, and remember that you are destined for great things.  Your current career does not to be a stopping point.  Think transformation, and be the architect of the next phase of your life.
