Step into your dreams
These worlds intersect: Our life of papers and paychecks, call it ordinary reality, be it glorious or mundane. This world too is ours to enjoy: a life of dreams. We have feet planted in both worlds. Some dreams eventually become part of our ordinary reality, and the dream can be enjoyed and still become scuffed like a great pair of jeans. Some people drop their dreams quickly in the discard bin; others paint their dreams into life consciously.
Do you try to make your dreams a reality? If so, then you have the power to transform your private visions into your living world. Your dreams can intersect your life after the alarm clock rings and you put on your walking shoes.
Joseph Grondin, a Toastmaster from Canada, exhorts us to seize our dreams and live them. “Its time NOW to live your dreams for you don't know what the future holds.” The world that we walk can change irrevocably any moment. A collision on the highways, a diagnosis of cancer, or a financial reversal can limit our choices. The dream is an opportunity to make something marvelous come to life, a bold assertion to move a vital je ne sais quoi into a personal, physical orbit.
No one holds the same dream as you perceive, yet you may have the chance to share its vital energy with others. Your dream is not owned by you, yet you may help it be expressed in this world of deadlines, bad bosses and tedium. No one else has the same opportunity or vision that you have been given!
Step into your dreams, and make them come to life. Dedicate at least some of your energies to doing something great. Look for the opportunities you have everyday, and smile when you can move closer to your victory.* * * *
